Tips and Tricks in Cardiology Volume III

The great success of the previous versions has put a great responsibility on the author as now he is required to continue at least the same level of perfection and impressiveness. The effort that was made in this version was much more than the previous 2 parts. A new section under the title of ‘Cardiology News’ was created to provide a summary of the recent trials in cardiology. All new guidelines have been also included in this volume.

In the “hot topics” section, I tried to cover almost all controversies in everyday cardiology practice. The hot topics section includes mainly the topics that are not addressed in the guidelines. I have used trusted sources for medical knowledge such as position papers, textbooks such as Braunwald and Topol, famous sites such as Medscape and UpToDate to provide a nice mix that contain a recent updated information and transforming them into well-organized homogenous simple material. Practical tips in Echocardiography were also added.

I have worked hard for almost one year to be able to finish this book and I hope it can provide the minimum amount of knowledge that can help every cardiologist either in clinical practice or in exams. I promise that you will enjoy reading this book as I tried to make it simple, organized, updated and to the point. I believe that the main advantage of this book is that it will save a lot of time needed for searching a trusted and updated information.
